I've driven big trucks and sports cars,

Played arenas and dive bars,

And maybe bent one or two laws.



I've seen Rushmore and the Alamo,

I've known Cherokee and Navaho.

I got in a barrel and shot over the falls.



Gone from horseback to spaceships.

Gone on cruises and day trips.

Brother, I once saw a dog fall down.



Been to stock shows and rodeos,

A circus and two side-shows,

And a goat-roping in a small Texas town.
